NRFIS is open to academics from across the UK and internationally.
NRFIS can support individual research projects as well as contribute to larger programme grants, European projects, and national challenge funding.
We are focused on developing relationships and projects with other institutions working to enhance the knowledge of processes, environments and sustainable materials for the built environment. Our facilities can be accessed using a variety of funding sources, including research council grants.
